INFORMATION

LOCATION: 35 Bellevue Avenue (Green P Carpark 71), Toronto

TEAM: Kimeeko Tamargo, Vicky Chung and Tracee Jia

The Stop is one of Toronto’s oldest food banks and as well as an annual fundraising event that benefits The Stop’s food programs against poverty and hunger. This public space transforms into a tantalizing fest for two summer nights in June.

THE DESIGN

Our team’s approach was to create a modular design, since this is a design approach that subdivides a system into smaller parts called modules, that can be independently created and then used in different systems and configurations. To reach the outcome of our final design, we looked at modular packaging, furniture, objects and architecture.
